WHAT'S HAPPENING DOWNTOWN THIS MONTH:  

May 2015

Every Saturday in May - Downtown Mooresville Farmer's Market  |  The Market is back and we look forward to its continued growth & success.  Featuring local farmers, meets, eggs, soaps and more! The Downtown Mooresville Farmer's Market will be held every Saturday from 8am until Noon.  Located in the parking lot at the corner of Church Street and East Iredell Ave (across from the MSI Chamber).

May 1 - Music on Main  |  The Tams.  Beach music kicks off  the 2015 Music on Main series with this FREE concert brought to you by the Town of Mooresville. Town Hall lawn at 413 N. Main Street 6:30-9:30. Bring your blankets, chairs, family & friends.

May 2 - Downtown Mooresville Cruise-In  |  Downtown Mooresville will shine with chrome and glitter with sparkling paint during the monthly Cruise-In.  It’s a great chance to show off your car and chat with other car enthusiasts, surrounded by the architecturally historic backdrop of Downtown Mooresville. This event is held the first Saturday of the month from 4-8pm on Broad Street in Downtown Mooresville. Free.  

May 8 - Mooresville Arts | Spring Art show and a solo show by Monty Elliot 6-8pm. 103 W. Center Avenue visit  www.magart.org for details.

May 9 -  Festival of Food Trucks | Gourmet Fare (from a bunch of trucks). North Main Street (between Moore Ave & Iredell Ave) from 5-8:30pm. Main Street from Moore Ave to Iredell Ave will be closed for the event so bring a chair, hang out in the street and stay a while so you can check out these awesome Food Trucks from around the area, taste some gourmet fare, listen to some music, stroll the streets & shop - all Happening in Downtown Mooresville.

May 12 – Fashion Show Fundraiser  |  TVT Tailoring is organizing and hosting a 1950's Fashion Show Fundraiser to support Veterans and our community. Tatyana James, owner of TVT Tailoring, will be hosting a 1950’s European style fashion show fundraiser, all proceeds of the fundraiser will go to the Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum in support of Veterans both old and young. 6-8pm at Richard’s Coffee Shop and Veteran Museum - 165 North Main Street, Downtown Mooresville. Tickets available for purchase at HEbrews Coffeehouse, L Squared and TVT Tailoring.

May 16 – Race City Festival  |  An outdoor street fair along Main & Broad Streets. Be sure to bring your family, friends and neighbors!! There is something for all ages with plenty of eats and things to do including; two live music stages, vendors, kids activities and a beer garden from  Noon to 5pm.  For information and details please contact the MSI Chamber of Commerce at 704-664-3898.  9am-5pm Free. 

May 20 - Homesley & Wingo Business After Hours  |  Please join Homesley & Wingo Law Group and the MSI Chamber for a Business After Hours that's sure to be a great time. Live music by DJ "That Guy Smitty" heavy hors d'oeuvres. Beer & Wine will be served. 5-7pm at  330 S. Main Street.

  • Tuesday through Saturday, Mooresville Arts open with art exhibits and classes from Noon -5pm.103 Center Ave.

Every first and third Saturday visit the Mooresville Museum from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.  View exhibits and artifacts from Mooresville's past and present. 132 E. Center Avenue.
